Production Data Management
CriticalControl has successfully integrated its products and services into the business
processes of gas producers. Over 250 clients rely on CriticalControl’s proprietary
products to access their production data, reduce the amount of time they spend in
regulatory reporting and keeping track of what goes on in their field operations.
- Gas Chart Integration
CriticalControl’s gas chart integration service is the industry standard for keeping
track of how much gas a well produced. Over 60% of gas charts generated in Canada
from dry flow gas meters (representing more than 70% of all gas wells) are imaged
onto CriticalControl’s proprietary ScanGas application for integration, regulatory
reporting and historical archiving purposes.
- Gas Composition Management
In order to manage gas composition associated with production at any metering point
in a gathering system, CriticalControl’s proprietary ProTrend application oversees
the data for every system and tool which requires access to it. CriticalControl
manages the data straight from the laboratory and simultaneously updates all of
a producer’s applications (including those of the non operating partner and gas
plant).
- Field Device Control
Where electronic flow measurement devices are installed at gas wells, CriticalControl’s
proprietary web-SCADA application enables producers to control any electronic device
at the wellsite from a simple web browser.
- Corrosion / Risk Assessment
CriticalControl’s pipeline risk assessment services enable asset integrity managers
to prioritize their budgets on those pipeline segments with the greatest risk of
failure., and answer regulatory requirements. The effects of alternate maintenance
programs are investigated and documented. CriticalControl’s risk assessments are
based on accurate, updated pipeline data, and consider pipeline specification, composition,
history, topography, and maintenance records.
- Gathering System Schematics
CriticalControl provides engineering drawings which are a logical, visual depiction
of gathering systems and facilities, based on current and verified production data.
Connectivity between pipelines and wells, and accurate flow directions are established.
CriticalControl’s schematic renderings enable producers to analyze their systems
for optimal planning and maintenance.
- GIS Services
CriticalControl’s GIS gathering system maps are spatially accurate and provide a
necessary component for compliance with ERCB Directive 56. Maps are based on current
and verified production data making them invaluable in Emergency Response Planning,
scheduling maintenance, communicating within the field and pipeline construction
decisions.
