PipeWatch

PipeWatch accesses a comprehensive, regularly updated production database, comprising pipecard data by license number, failure histories, pipeline profiles and topographical features. A risk assessment matrix is generated by likelihood of failure and consequence, with an associated score for each individual pipeline segment.

The application can be used at an enterprise level, giving an overall picture and risk rating of all the producer’s fields in Western Canada, down to images of individual lines and associated properties for use at the field level.

In either case, the user receives an immediate snapshot of where to allocate resources by priority. Those pipelines with the greatest propensity for failure, and associated consequences are immediately identified for action. Both views and reports are customizable by the user – by the various layers and type of report desired.

PipeWatch provides assurance that risk assessment has been conducted for all the producer’s fields, necessary for yearly compliance with ERCB Directive56.
