The imaging and conversion services provided by CriticalControl conform to Health Level 7 (HL7) standards - data standards meant to allow healthcare organizations to easily share clinical information. Our facilities, specialized equipment, experienced staff, project management and quality assurance processes ensure our ability to deliver the highest degree of speed and accuracy for our clients. Our work processes are dedicated first and foremost to the maintenance of security and confidentiality of customer documents and materials in our safekeeping.
- Outsourced Conversion Services
Traditionally, the bulk of our document conversion services have involved the long-term archival of critical records to microfilm, either at our facilities or onsite at client locations.
We also provide EKG film processing and off-site storage of microfilmed medical records.
Recently, with progress toward Electronic Health Records, CriticalControl is also providing more outsourced imaging services for conversion of both active and inactive patient records to digital content.
- Innovative Information Management Solutions
In addition, CriticalControl is applying innovative solutions to help healthcare providers lower costs and enhance productivity while improving the quality of care.
In Western Canada, CriticalControl worked together with a major Health Authority to develop, implement and support a distributed capture Emergency Department Scanning Initiative. The system allows medical staff to scan and capture forms after every patient visit to the ER, enabling the immediate transfer of form data to the Provincial health database to become part of the patient’s permanent medical record.
