‘CriticalControl awarded $17.25 million contract over five-year term’

CALGARY, Alberta (March 9, 2006) – CriticalControl Solutions Corp., (TSX-V:CCZ) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary CriticalControl Solutions Inc. has been awarded a five-year contract  for outsourced imaging, analysis and information control services (the “Services”) with a major government client. The contract is worth $17.25 million for the initial five year term and allows the client to extend the contract twice for up to three years on the first occasion and for up to two years on the second occasion.

CriticalControl Solutions Corp. conducts all of its government business under the wholly owned subsidiary, CriticalControl Solutions Inc.  The subsidiary was originally awarded a five-year contract commencing in 1997 to provide the Services.  This contract was extended for three years commencing in 2002 and again for an additional year commencing in 2005. The current outsourced arrangement for the Services expires March 31, 2006 after nine years.  After a request for proposals, the client has awarded the contract to CriticalControl Solutions Inc. for an initial term of five years.
