WNS EMERGENT INC. (TSX-V: WNS) NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 04, 2004 Calgary, Alberta WNS ANNOUNCES OPENING OF NEW SERVICE BUREAU AND GOVERNMENT CONTRACT WNS Emergent Inc. (“WNS” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its enhanced imaging service bureau in Edmonton, Alberta is now fully operational. The new facility replaces older equipment with new technology in a secure environment. The opening of the service bureau coincided with the award of a multi year imaging, document archiving and retrieval contract by a Government of Alberta Ministry to WNS (the "Contract"). The Contract is a multifaceted contract enabling other Government of Alberta ministries to use WNS' services prescribed in the Contract directly, without need for additional tender. The initial scope of the Contract is for approximately $1 Million over three years for services to a single Ministry. The contract can be extended for up to an additional 4 years after the initial 3 year term and can be increased in scope to provide our services to additional Ministries as required," said George Watson, CEO. As of March 1, 2004 substantially all of WNS' business will be conducted as Critical Control Solutions Inc. and the company's new website, www.criticalcontrol.com, will be launched at that time.
