Hammett Acquires 14% of WNS Inc. as an Investment

WNS INC. (CDNX: WNS) ("WNS" or the "Corporation") and William T. Hammett (“Hammett”) announce that Hammett has acquired ownership or control of 2,620,000 shares of WNS Inc. pursuant to an agreement with Word N Systems Inc. The shares are subject to an escrow agreement whereby 163,750 of the shares will be released from escrow on December 29, 2001 and 491,250 shares will be released every six months thereafter.

The shares were acquired for investment purposes only and not for the purposes of influencing the control or direction over WNS. Hammett has no present intention of purchasing any additional securities of WNS.
